Anglo Scottish Asset Finance has launched a dedicated Light Commercial Vehicle (LCV) Finance division, designed to help vehicle dealers across the UK increase finance penetration, improve customer approval rates and hit their sales targets.
The division will be led by Andy Morris, Head of Vehicle Solutions, supported by two key internal appointments: Amy Rogers, who has been promoted to Sales Support Team Leader, and Ian Wright, being promoted to Business Development Director.
The team has also expanded with the recruitment of Anthony Henderson in the role of Business Development Manager. This strengthened team will work closely with dealers, providing fast, flexible and competitive finance options and ensuring their customers can drive away with the vehicles they need.
The new division has been built with dealers in mind – providing tailored finance solutions that not only support customers but also drive sales performance. By partnering with Anglo Scottish, dealers can:
- Increase finance approvals, including for near-prime customers
- Offer flexible packages such as VAT deferral and financed VAT
- Convert more enquiries into signed deals
- Process multiple units on a single document, reducing admin
- Receive payments within hours to speed up the sales cycle
- Work directly with a dedicated “deal-maker” who acts as an extension of their sales team.
This streamlined service helps dealers overcome customer objections, secure quicker, easier approvals and ultimately sell more vehicles – whether it’s a single van or a full fleet.
Andy Morris, Head of Vehicle Solutions, said: “We can finance almost any commercial vehicle, new or used, including vans, LWB vans, and crew vans, Luton vans and dropsides, minibuses and tippers. Our dealers can also broaden their reach, knowing we can support all tiers of customers – from sole traders and partnerships through to corporates and limited companies”
Anglo Scottish is also inviting dealerships to partner with the business, FCA-authorised introducers can benefit from access to a wide panel of funders, competitive finance products and dedicated deal-maker support to help close more sales.
For those without FCA permissions, Anglo Scottish offers the opportunity to become an Introducer Appointed Representative (IAR), enabling businesses to promote regulated finance under Anglo Scottish’s authorisation. This allows partners to expand their offering without the cost and administration of direct FCA approval, while earning commission on every successful deal.
