Mercedes-Benz has officially opened the order books for its new all-electric GLC in the United Kingdom, signalling a significant new chapter for the brand’s popular mid-size SUV, and a major upgrade on the EQC.
Set to be the first in a completely new family of electric vehicles, the new GLC with EQ Technology aims to blend traditional Mercedes elegance with a cutting-edge electric drive system and highly intuitive software.
With customer deliveries penned to begin in mid-2026, the new model enters the highly competitive premium EV market with a formidable set of specifications. At launch, the sole configuration available will be the GLC 400 4MATIC, which boasts a combined 489hp, all-wheel drive, and a remarkable WLTP range of up to 406 miles.
Prices for this initial offering start at £60,350 for the generously equipped ‘Sport’ specification, positioning it as a direct challenger to established rivals.
